MIRA books is a new, up-and-coming imprint that focuses on the very best voices in mainstream fiction.

With a small but dedicated team, we publish books we love and that we're sure will entertain - from thrillers to fantasy, chick-lit to historical fiction. We're always looking for outstanding new books and writers to introduce to readers.

MIRA has seen incredible growth over the last few years - almost doubling sales since 2005. This is largely due to our ability to break debut authors - Elizabeth Flock, Pam Jenoff and Marcia Preston to name but a few - who we've added to established names like Alex Kava, Erica Spindler and Tess Gerritsen.

We've gained a particularly strong reputation for crime fiction, with some of the hottest authors in the market - Paul Johnston, M.J. Rose, Chris Jordan and P.D. Martin amongst others. And with even more exciting new talent in the pipeline for 2008 - watch out for high profile debuts from Steven Hague and Jason Pinter in particular - the future looks bright.
