What do you love most about being a writer?
I love to feel a book "gel." I also love being paid for doing something I love so much.

Arguing with my modem and worrying about the "business" end.

The American Civil War, Medieval Europe, Contemporary South Florida, Los Angeles, and Manhattan.

Wow. Love lots of authors: Sherryl Woods, Jasmine Creswell, Laura Van Wormer, Sally Fairchild, Nora Roberts, Nan Ryan, and more!
On Romance...
Describe the ultimate romantic meal.
It would have to be an "on the water" setting. Warm, I think. Soft ocean breezes. Background music, and the sound of the surf. Good champagne, lobster, king crab, and filet and Hershey’s Kisses!
What is the most romantic gesture or gift you have received?
My cat, Cougar. He recently died at 16, but he was a gift from my husband and kids after we lost a kitten.
How do you keep the romance alive in your relationship?
Sticking with it through the good and the bad.
Where is the most romantic place you’ve ever travelled?
Venice I truly love Venice.

Besides writing, what other talent would you most like to have?
I would still like to go back to my first love, theatre, and play Lady Macbeth!
Who is someone you admire and why?
The late Elizabeth Glaser she founded the Paediatric Aids Foundation while fighting the disease herself.
Do you have a good luck charm or superstition?
I have a mermaid pendant that’s kind of a special piece. But I don’t really believe in good luck pieces.
